Hi, I'm Margo! I'm a photographer based in Birdsboro, PA.
My studio, Margo Reed Studio, specializes in photographing community-centered events and people. I pride myself in photographing those who are not typically staged in front of a camera. This includes a surgeon performing a corneal transplant, a historical society preserving a disappearing minority language, and a jazz artist releasing their first album.
I got my start as an intern at the Reading Eagle and went on to complete a contract position at the Philadelphia Inquirer from 2018-2019. I am also an instructor of photojournalism at Temple University in Philadelphia, my alma mater. Feel free to browse this website to see samples of my work.
The class will cater to beginners in photography and those who might even be using a cell phone camera. Please feel free to reach me via text at 610-790-4884. I look forward to meeting you!
