

Margo Reed
Margo Reed is a contemporary portrait artist and cinematographer who specializes in photographing people. Her work is , but she utilizes modern storytelling techniques especially in videography and lighting.
After completing a contract with the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2019, Margo established her studio to produce engaging content for people she previously would have worked with on news assignments. Today, that often includes healthcare institutions, government organizations, and fellow artists.
Margo hails from rural Pennsylvania, where she grew up daydreaming about and photographing a historic home with good light. Today, she resides with her husband in a brick victorian in Berks County, which they are remodeling with the help of her 88-year-old grandfather.
Margo enjoys working alongside aging people in rural America and has often been described by colleagues as an "old soul".
Margo has had work featured in People, New York Times, NPPA's News Photographer Magazine, Associated Press, and the Philadelphia Inquirer, among others.
