About Margo and the team:

MARGO REED

Margo Reed is a commercial photographer and videographer who combines fundamental principles of photojournalism with modern storytelling techniques, particularly in lighting and story structure.

She puts a strong emphasis on the client-photographer relationship, marketing her services in a freelance or retainer-based capacity.

After completing a contract with the Philadelphia Inquirer in 2019, Margo established her studio to produce engaging content for people she previously would have worked with on news assignments. Today, that often includes clients in education, communications, and the arts.

Margo has had work featured in People, New York Times, NPPA's News Photographer Magazine, Associated Press, and the Philadelphia Inquirer, among others. She is a member of the Professional Photographers Association, the Freelancers Union, and the Video Consortium.

Margo Reed Studio is a Greater Philadelphia-based company providing contemporary photo and video services for community-centered organizations. This often includes healthcare networks, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

The work is produced by Margo and a team of contractors who all have formal training and experience in photojournalism.
