Ursinus College Image Libraries
Image Library Photography for Ursinus College
This image library photography project documents each academic year at Ursinus College through the school’s annual report, arts magazine, and marketing materials. Working closely with creative directors, the goal is to create a cohesive visual library that reflects the college’s identity and community.

Image Library Photography Approach
I work one-on-one with creative directors at Ursinus College to identify key stories across campus. As a result, the imagery goes beyond simple documentation and instead focuses on building a flexible and intentional collection of photographs.
The challenge is to create images that convey the heart of a liberal arts education. At the same time, the photographs must reflect both academic rigor and the sense of community among students and staff.

Building Image Libraries Across Campus
Image libraries are developed over the course of multi-day shoots. In addition, they provide institutions with a versatile collection of photographs that can be used across print, digital, and marketing platforms.
Because we move through multiple locations each day, pre-production is critical. Careful scheduling and planning allow us to work efficiently while still capturing authentic, unscripted moments.

Image Library Photography for Higher Education
The concept for this project focused on capturing movement-rich imagery with soft, natural lighting. As a result, the final collection feels cohesive, dynamic, and adaptable across a wide range of uses.
Ultimately, this image library photography project delivers more than a year in review. Instead, it creates a visual system that supports long-term storytelling, marketing, and institutional identity.
